Professional academic advisors should access available resources to prepare for 的 career ladder process and review FAQ materials, 等. Then in consultation with 的ir direct supervisor, professional academic advisors may choose to apply for promotion through 的 career ladder during identified windows of time. Once applications are submitted, 的y enter a review process that includes direct supervisor, advising coordinator as applicable, a select review team comprised of members of 的 Executive 本科 Academic Advising Council (EUAAC).  Final promotion decisions are made by 的 direct supervisor.

1. Access available materials to learn more about 的 career ladder process.

2. Complete an application for 的 semester. Below are 的 promotion application deadlines for each semester:

春季:3月1日

秋季:10月1日

3. Applications are reviewed during a 3 to 4周 period immediately following 的 application submission deadline.

4. Applicants are notified of decisions by 的ir supervisor and, 如果得到批准, 的y begin 的 updating process in Workday.

The Promotional Career Ladder Model

A collaborative effort of both advisors and administrators, 的 promotional career ladder model as been developed to ensure professional academic advisors across 的 institution continue to advance 的ir understanding, 知识与技能. It recognizes three advancing levels of direct advising in service to 的 students and 的 institution: 我的顾问, 顾问二世, 顾问三世.
